unfortunately software is the only way to step edit style parts other than drums.
To my dismay, I discovered that a few years back when I bought my 9000pro, I didn't read the manual correctly before I bought it, I thought I could step edit all the parts.
I use OMB ( stylemaker section) for editing my psr styles (for use with OMB software. )Not sure how it works with megavoices though?? http://www.1manband.nl/omb.htm

Michaels software may work for you, but I think you also need a sequencer that supports casms??

Not familiar with Jorgen's software but he may also have a program that edits.
