I don't really care what anybody else uses, other than they might turn me on to something I don't know about. I use what I need for the job. Sometimes too much is too much. The Barbettas are wonderful, but sometimes way too much. Sometimes the Logitechs are better for a certain situation so I use them. Sometimes a mixer, sometimes not, etc.
I just bought a second set of Logitechs. Don't know why yet, but I'm sure there's a reason.
