Hey !!! thanks for the support. My wife has been suggesting I put a PayPal donation button up for a while now, so I think that I will do that. Any donations to server costs would always be gratefully accepted. But there would never be any pressure to donate, so those who are unable to won't ever have to. I have always felt ( since 1995 ) there was a need for a free keyboard community site like this online and will continue to provide it as long as I am able to.

But please don't change your posting habits because of what I said. A lot can be gained from seemingly casual social conversation between musicians. Don't avoid posting to keep your postings to a minimum. I was simply trying to discourage numerous frivolous postings. And thanks for understanding Mike and removing those postings. I have fixed your posting count for you under the new name. And I know how it is with the CA fires presently. I couldn't go to work yesterday because I work in the Simi Valley area and the freeways in and out had been shut down. Today I was able to make it in but the air was still thick with smoke and ash. Two of my workmates had had the fires burn right up to their houses but firefighters were able to prevent them from going up in flames.

Those firefighters really do an amazing job. We'd all be in big trouble without them.
