I know nothing about their new systems, but I used to use the Bose 802's for my sound system (got 'em cheap) and I found that they did not amplify frequencies evenly. I A/B'd them with the first powered JBL EON's when they came out around 1995 and found the EON's to have a far more even frequency response, which is crucial for keyboards or you'll have certain notes jump out at you. Bose speakers tend to color their sound to a degree, which is why you don't see them in studios. Just a word to the wise to try before you buy.
