I have almost the same type of software, (SONAR, COOL EDIT 2000, SOUND FORGUE 6, ETC.), I have P4, some of my friends, also have similar set ups and have the AMD Athlon....and no problem....Idatrod
is correct, runs hotter.....my friends help it installing an extra cooling fan inside their PCs......good luck !! .
