keep in mind that this is marketed as a 'digital piano'. Even the $3850 price tag is not out of line when matched up against the likes of Yamaha's digital pianos. Add in the Casio's lighted keys (not on any Yammy I've seen) and some of it's other features, and you have a different target market than the folks in this forum.
In contrast, have you checked out prices on 'acoustic' pianos lately - say Yamaha's. A half decent baby grand sells for around $20,000 with a basic upright weighing in at around $6,000. And they have a max of 10 note polyphony - 1 for each finger on your hand !!!!
