I can't imagine you guys were having that problem too. It was about to drive me nuts. I have 98SE.

I did what you said up to hold the shift key down and closed from the menu window and when I clicked it back on it was full screen.

Now I'm gonna shut down and see what happens on a re-boot.

Now you need to tell us where you learned this?

Don, I just rebooted and I've gat a full screen.
