if you have access to a computer, you can midi a dgx up to it & greatly expand the functions of the dgx with software like OMB http://www.1manband.nl/.
With it you can edit styles for a dgx, you can even use it as an arranger by using the dgx as a controller keyboard & sound source.

Meanwhile if you do go ahead, learn all it's functions & later on , maybe consider a program like OMB if you require extra style functions.
