To me they're suggesting pep power which makes the actual wattage 350 watts.
The Z5500 has 1010 watts pep or 505 watts

I use 7 speakers on my z5500 I added a extra center speaker that helps the mid range a bit and use these 2 speakers on each side to the rear a bit to doulble as monitors.....
