Hi Don - I use a Studiologic (Fatar) 161 which is very lightweight. I bought it used for £85 (about $140) and found an old guitar case (square type) for transportation in a friends music shop I used to work in.

The playing action is OK but only just and it is a very robust unit

If I take this and the XD3 along with the Z2200s to a gig I only need a mic, stand and stool which all go in the boot(trunk) of a mini car. Its a long way from a split L100 with 145 Leslie in a van and 3 other blokes to help carry - lol

I also still have a Studiologic 1100 which is 88 note fully weighted kedbed which I like to play the Tyros with (and the XD). I know its the same sound but just playing the Tyros pianos with a better keyboard seems to improve the sound as well as the playing experience - weird innit?

I know you are into the new Midijay but I like the additional arranger features on the XD.
