One of my favotrite things to listen to when I was growing up was good blues music. When Robin Trower released the power blues album " Bridge of sighs ", I was totally hooked. My early practices included me adding distorted organs to some of the tunes on his albums. Distorted organ was perfect for me too, because nothing sounded as distorted and awful as my first organ ( a Silvertone .. circa maybe 1967 )

Although I tend to like jazz fusion and synth rock / electronic music even more than blues, sometimes I tend to return to my earliest roots in listening and playing. Not only that, but "jazzplayer" and "electroplayer" just don't have quite the same ring.
