I highly recommend purchasing from a reputable dealer. Preferrably one in your area.

My Tyros was just returned to the dealer for repair to a non-working Direct Access key. The warranty work is being done locally and will take 2 weeks. However, the store where I purchased the Tyros and is doing the work LOANED me a MOTIF 6 to use on my next 2 weeks worth of gigs!!!!!

I don't think Musicians Friend or Music 123 would do that.

BTW, I'm loving the Tyros as a performance keyboard.
