thanks for comments...i have actually stumbled across a program i had forgotten about, when i tried it unsuccessfully with the midjay i owned (only had it for about 2 weeks!!) the prgram is called SD1 Mastering studio, and i downloaded the demo and i have got to say it is a great program...(provided you use midi files, its not good for anything else)...it edits everything you need to tweak midis and saves it all in the track header as ketron sysex data...brilliant, and all run from a gui that makes an a doddle to use...dont know if you would be interested but here is the link http://www.soundcompany.net/sd1/mastering_studio/

PS thanks for offering to help out with the SD im sure i will have some questions..it is SO different to anything else,but im getting the hang of it, slowly...just got to realise its not yamaha/roland op systems which are quite simple....cya
