They don't even NEED Mardi Gras this year! Having lived there back at the beginning of the century, having watched the Aints suck since the mid 80's, having endured the Colts absolutely destroy the Saints a few years back (from the best seats I ever bought to a game!), I can only say... IT'S ABOUT TIME! WHO DAT! I keep pinching myself, and the score doesn't change... I guess it MUST be real IP: Logged |

Academy Sports opened AFTER the game last night to start selling Super Bowl Championship shirts, hats, etc. They already had them manufactured! Now that's confidence. DonM IP: Logged |

Don ... Actually they always make them for both teams in any championship game so that the vendors can take advantage of the hysteria immediately following the game ... When the GIANTS won in 2007, we had 'championship gear' 30 minutes after the game ended ...A fellow who works in a sporting goods store here in RI told me that in 2007 they had TONS of NE Patriots 19-0 gear ready to go ... When the NY Yankees won the ALDS they were selling the tee shirts in the parking lot of GIANTS Stadium immediately following a GIANTS football game ! ![]() The stuff they manufacture for the losers goes to third world countries ... t.
