hi all, going through my fake books, one of the first things you notice is if for example if there are a thousand songs most of them you don,t know, of those that you do they are in a key you are not familiar with ,or difficult to play (for us novices)so you end up with just a few that you can play, then in time you gradually learn a few more, anyway you get some songs with some weird names, hence the title subject (never heard of it,but i will try it )WOW ,some of these old songs are brilliant, also you may know a tune but not know it,s name,so you try it ,i never new it was called that, the book i,m going through at the moment is the latin fake book and these three stood out, nice cheerful songs have you tried them (yes you probably have) CHIAPANECAS,CIELITO LINDO and PERFIDIA,i would like your response to this subject, any songs that stood out to you that you really liked?,mike IP: Logged |
