I am looking for a quality Oberheim Matrix 1000 editor. I can give the Oberheim its owm MIDI in and out ports, but it seems to be somewhat troublesome to edit. I know it uses checksums, which don't make life easy, but there has to be a an editor that is relativley easy to use and doesn't freeze all the time.

Have you tried OB6000 by Thomas Bolte? Think it's under Oberheim in Synth Zone main room.mn
