Today I purchaced a Oberheim DPX-1 Digital Sample Player. I have no idea what I might use it for but it looks real cool. It has 3.5 & 5.25 drives, midi In Out & Thru. That is about all I know about it at this time, when I get a chance I will play with it an maybe find out what it does. If anyone wants to send info on this please do so. Thanks Bob IP: Logged |

Hi The DPX 1 is just a sample player. It loads and plays disks from the Ensoniq DSK, Emulator II, Prophet 2000 and Akai S900. It can have 8 outs and a CD-ROM interface. multi programs made on the machines mentioned will play on the DPX-1. If you had the following settings on a Emulator II Drums = channel 1 the DPX would replicate these. for further info visit the Emulator Archive website. Duncan IP: Logged |
