Hi,
Can anyone help me regarding my problems with Kurzweil 2000? Very often after I turn it on before I start playing on a gig, the synth doesn't turn on but the screen says: PLEASE WAIT or
WAIT UP SCANNER. Is this due to transport, contacts, or something similar? Some other times it works normally.
Where can i find the way to solve this problem?

Try first to hard reset the machine

If you still have the problem, try draining all the power for the PRAM by taking out the batteries and letting it sit over night, then reset and try again
