The "Off-Line Editor & Librarian" is a tool to help you manage
the sounds you create for use with your Technics Musical
Instrument. It is ShareWare, not FreeWare. This means that you
may use the software to determine its suitability for your
purposes. You must pay for it if you find it useful and you keep
using it. (21 days is usually enough time.) When you pay for
and register your use of the program you get a printed manual and
the option to upgrade to future releases at reduced rates.

To register, send a check or money order to the address above,
for $39.95 plus $3.00 shipping and handling, payable to
"Techs*Calibur". ANY commercial use of this program requires
registration. Your contribution to the development of this
program will be much appreciated and will encourage us to
enhance, augment, and expand its capabilities.

The "Off-Line Editor & Librarian" may be copied and shared with
others according to the following requirements:
          - ALL ASSOCIATED FILES ARE INCLUDED WITH ALL COPIES
          - no charge is made for the software
          - if you decide to not pay for this software you must
discontinue using it before the 21 day trial period expires
and delete it from all of your disks
          - you may not distribute modified versions or remove the
               copyright notice
          - you may NOT decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or
create derivative works based on the software or any part
thereof. (In other words: If you can do it better, GREAT!
Just start from scratch, like we did.)

Now it is time to experience total "Sound Edit" control

The "Off-Line Editor & Librarian" is easy to use. Every menu
function is designed to give you unprecedented editing control
          over your sound.

Simply run the Editor & Librarian on your PC, put the Song Disk
into the computer, and you are ready to go. The menus guide you
          each step of the way.

When you Load a Song, all of the Tone Memory Names appear on the
          screen.

Now, its easy to find and select the Tone Memory you want to
edit. There is even a SWAP function, which allows you to
exchange the Sound Data in one Tone Memory Location with another.

Every parameter you need to create your own unique sound is on
the screen and at your finger tips. Instead of searching through
a maze of menu pages on the keyboard, you adjust every setting on
          the computer's screen.

          This is just the beginning.

Now, when you develop your own sounds, use the LIBRARY function
to store the Sound Data in a Library File. When you want to use
that Sound in another Song, you retrieve it from the Library, and
place it into a Tone Memory Location. Since the computer did all
the work, there are no little bits of paper or forgotten
settings, and you are playing music not punching buttons.

Suddenly, It all makes sense ...

The Sound Data Edit Screen makes all the difference. Because it
is arranged so you can see all the settings and how they relate
          to each other.

Now you can tell why a Tone sounds the way it does, and how it
contributes to the overall sound. Designing your own sounds with
this insight will be much easier and more productive.

The LIBRARY function makes storing and managing those sounds
easier, too. Now you can use exactly the sound you want in a
particular song without having to re-enter all of the Sound Data
          every time.

Sound, Power, Versatility, and now Techs*Calibur gives you the
ability to control it all. Complete the investment you made in
your performance and spend your time making music. Techs*Calibur
gives you more of what you bought a Technics Keyboard for: Time.

Time to make the best Music you ever heard.

          What is ...

           ... Sound Data?
"Sound Data" is not the sound itself, rather, it is a set of
parameters on how to playback the incredible array of sounds
already built into Technics Musical Instruments.

           ... a Tone Memory?
A "Tone Memory" is a place to store Sound Data that you change to
create a new or different sound. There are at least 40 Tone
Memory Locations in your Technics Keyboard.

           ... a Tone Memory File?
A "Tone Memory File" is a part of every Song you Save to disk.
It contains the Sound Data from all the Tone Memory Locations in
the Keyboard at the time of the SAVE. They represent all of the
Sounds, or Voices, you created for use with that Song.

           ... an "Off-Line Editor & Librarian"?
The "Editor & Librarian" is a program for your PC that gives you
a unique view of your Sound Data and enables you to take complete
control of your Tone Memory Files.
