Yes, but it was about comparing Pa4x prices to Pa4x prices ... not about how many Pa1000 are being sold or 'dumped' or anyone's personal opinion about what KB is the ' best bang for the buck' ...
This is why topics go 'south' so quickly ...
just sayin'

It seemed to imply sales as a new arranger. Possibly apart from the balkans, the middle east and asia where Korg seem to do very well, I'd have thought Yamaha ruled the roost. Roland arrangers would seem to be some way behind those two.

The E-A7 was the exception to the rule.. I was surprised that the board sold so well worldwide.. It was priced right, had styles from the areas you mentioned.. Easy to use sampler.. and features like 6 pads, 7 assign buttons.. besides a quality sound source..

It added up to big sales.. I believe the Korg PA300 was the next best selling arranger worldwide..

I'm curious if method of payment has anything to do with secondary sales..paying each other with PayPal can be done, backed by cash thru bank accounts, or by check or money orders for those who know and trust each other. Or in person cash exchanges. Initial sales from retailers need only produce that credit card or dealer financing, something that's usually not an option in a person to person deal. So maybe its an economic issue not about price but disposable income/cash availability..John your price is very good..

Fran, asking price and completed price are not the same. I compared my asking price to their asking price.

I read everything you post; they are good and very informative– why don’t we let his one go.

I bought my pa4x(76) almost 2 years ago, for just €2600 brand new..
On top of that, i got back €500 for my old G70 that was gathering dust..

I think used prices for pa4x here in europe around €2000 are quite healthy..

Don't lose heart, John. Your price is right, and folks are just on the edge of thinking about Christmas gifts.

I agree..... I would buy your keyboard in a heartbeat if I could!

Same here, but I just moved and am completely tapped out.

Fran, I was sorely tempted by the EA-7 just going by online demos and the general good talk about it. In the end though, not having seen one in the flesh, plus its lack of an on-board harmoniser was enough to keep me in the Korg camp.

Fran, where did you get this information from? Do you have a link?

Steve , originally I think I found the link from Bachus… more than a year ago..

I do recall that after the EA7 the next best selling arranger was the PA300.
