Due to vision problems I have to go back to my trusty shure wh20 xlr headworn mic. I found some pretty good compressor settings that help give me some good dynamics, close to a Handheld, but at least I can see my screen clearly on my pa1000. Here are my mic compressor settings if
someone would like to try them
compressor--on
threshold -10
ratio 6.2-1
gate on if needed to control breath noise threshold 10 to 15
gate off if not needed

This is the best for me but might be worth a try for others. as for eq
use your favorite setting because everybody is different.

GOOD LUCK
MEL

By the way, these settings work very well with dynamic hand held mics as well.

Interesting, I wonder if this would be the same for the Pa4x. I have never touched mine.

Bernie if it works don't fix it; unless you are ready for a learning curve. Exploring different parts of the keyboard can be interesting. Right now I am workimg where I can use the Chord Sequencer -- next will be the Kaoss.
