As stated in the text with the youtube video I first recorded this song on my Ketron X1, which as you all know is properly dated ( 1999) but still lays down a terrific basis track with drums and bass, one of the reasons I have clung to it so far.
I also did a version on my PA800 which did not come out all that well but then my musical buddy Carlo did his stuff on his new PA900 and being a pastmaster both in programming and playing he did a marvellous job. And to top it all he did not actually ask me to sing the tracks again but siphoned off my vocals from the Ketron recording and matched them with his Korg PA900 recording. I am amazed, humbled and grateful.

Nice job, John ... I've thought of working on an arrangement similar to Michael Buble ... swingin' ...

PS: ... that is a cool video ...

Thank you guys for your comments.
As a matter of fact this is one of the last recordings to be added to my new CD ( available only for friends and those interested and obviously for free !). I am putting the finishing touch to two more songs. It has been quite a challenge as the approach was kinda different from other home albums made. Generally I would record with the aid of just one keyboard (Korg most of the times). This time I have first of all also given prominence to my acoustic guitar playing and of course I have realized most songs with the musical assistance and wizardry of my friend Carlo. I let you know when it is finished and available. Talking of which any idea where I can "park it in the cloud " easily so as for those interested here to download ?

regards,
John

If you made MP3 files, that are under 6MB per file, of your tracks you could attach them to a thread on this forum. You can attach up to a couple each post using File Manager. So then they will continue to be available from here.
