German Korg programmer Jurgen Sartorius has made a USB stick that offers an array of former Technics sounds for the Korg PA3X. After due consideration he has decided to make one for the PA2X and PA800 as well. Price is 39 euros + postage. Would be nice if it was in English also, this way he can expand his horizon. At of all the arrangers that ever came out, the accordions in the KN series were the best, if he captures everyone in the KN-7000 series including the Italian and German accordions, he will have a big seller on his hands.

If you follow the link , to the right is a " Soundliste " of the samples and sounds that are included. Very unlikely he would include all accordeons etc. but nevertheless it sounds like a nice package. Unfortunately for those in the USA I was informed by the programmer that he will only mail the USB stick within Europe. However these things can be remedied it seems to me.
All in all a very welcome initiative it seems to me.

Can kn6000 styles be converted for the Pa600? ... there are a couple of Jazz and Big Band styles on the kn6000 I would LOVE to have for the Pa600 - the kn Big Band Boogie was written for "Chattanooga Choo Choo" - ... and it has a REAL 'Irish Jig' ...

Tony did you get the musikant jig?

I don't recall seeing a 'jig' in those styles, Donny ... it was suggested to use one of the 'tarantella' styles ...
