SQ-80 Picking up RF

My SQ-80 used to pick up radio frequencies when turning off; I'd hit the power switch and I'd get a burst of Chinese programming. Now, when the SQ-80 is plugged into my MOTU Ultralite interface - with a balanced cable - I get christian programming constantly. The only exception is when I hit record to track a sequence - then it's silent. I tried a shorter length of cable, and it became worse. Any ideas?

If you are connecting to a laptop, try running it off batteries (unplug the A/C cable from the wall outlet. If you are using a desk PC, make sure that the computer and SQ-80 are plugged into the same wall outlet. If neither of these works, get one of these:
