Casio Wk-1630

I am having trouble with the the Casio WK-1600 ins file. When I try to record one of the user tones it plays back as piano or a genral midi tone. For example if I use User patch 1 it plays grand piano during layback. Are the specs of these keyboards different or am I doing something wrong?
