Hey i just recently downloaded a librarian(sounlib) for my 101 and i was
wondering if there is any way to dump into or out of the cartridge....as
it is i can only dump or unload from the internal memory....also if
anyone can point me to some resources on the whole gammut of system
messages and implementations....or perhaps a good midi book....thnx
(for some reason i can't post at any newsgroups??? this is my 4th attempt...well not exactly but you get the idea 0] AMFREQ...

Hello,
You have to dump into the internal memory, copy to the card, or, do the reverse. I don't think you can acess the card other than via the INT bank. The only book IO know of is:

I have a copy along with a lot of sound sheets. It's pretty good about info, but you really shouldn't expect too much in the way of midi from the 101, it's a very basic synth with lots of potential if you really get into it. I don't use mine anymore because the CAP battery has died & I can't find anyplace to have it repaired/replaced, so the memory dies as soon as I shut the thing off.
