How to load Vsti - 08/06/09 01:09 PM

Hi guys. Can anyone explain to me, step by step, how to load Vsti? Remember I use OS 2.8 which's been working fine with my CPU. What Vsti should I use, any one or only Linux compatible ones. For example if I wanted to use this demo Syntheway Magnus Choir: http://www.syntheway.net/ .
Thanks in advance.

Ciao Victor
OS 2.8 or 3.X have nothing to do with the wine installer. The MS OS will only drive by midi the VstHost and Asio host.
First you have to make the standard windows installer and then IF is a ASIO standalone application, you have to setup the Midi IN port to one Jack Midi ASIO port.
If is only a VSTi, then you have to open the VSTi by the VstHost interface and save the presets on VstHost.
The MS then will recall by midi the VstHost preset and you can play over it.

here the manual of the VstHost: http://www.lionstracs.com/download/mediastation/VSTHostmanual.pdf

Wow! I was able to load Vstis. I played those Choir demo Vsti (I found it in the web by chance and I discovered the were made in my country). I also played the Fm8 and Edirol Orchestra Vst from the main VstHost. Those sound so well!!. I need to know now how I link the ASIO 1-8 buttons to a specific VSTi and how I include all their programs (sounds) in the program list. Help me with this last but not least important step. Thanks.
