Is Live-Styler back available now though new owner

Hi,
I have heard LS is now been sold to FR company that was distributor?
Any information would be helpful.
I am looking for the Hard Drive Norbert put together.

I found this French web site but many links are dead. I have the LS hard drive and some other products on DVDs. I was hoping for someone to continue to update the LS.

actually the hard drive he put together was based on the sample set of Lionstracks, great stuff in there, i know quite some people that worked very hard to get that collection together..

And then Norbert and Lionstracs got a financial disagreement, he allowed Lionstracs to use livestyler on their products, biut somehow they never truely got a financial agreement and Norbert took the samples (that where not owned by lionstracs) as a payment.. It was a very sad story for all involved.

The only winners are those people that have that database... its asumably one of the best GM sources and even contains many of the Yamaha megavoices..

I think i was the one introducing the Rumor, i read it on a french forum, never really got any proof of it.


Point is, i was looking for that same hard drive...

I think the last version of livestyler, is miles behind the Varranger2, and so the only thing interested is the soundsource. Which could add a lot of goodness for Varranger owners.

I have never used VArranger, but it seems to be pretty sophisticated. I can imagine the old LS is no match for it. I am not much of an arranger player, I enjoy playing a midi accordion using a variety of sounds on multiple midi channels. I was thinking maybe I could use VArranger for that purpose, but I figured that for the price of VArranger, I could do better with VST plugins a good host.

I took a look at my LS USB hard drive. You are right. It has lots of Yamaha Mega Voices. About 14 Gb all in sf2 format, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Do you happen to know the best way to use sf2 files in a VST host?

also I have original usb hd from Norbert and
last version Livestyler 15 with usb key.and Pc Shuttle x50v2
which Norbert send to me
