software arranger programming - 11/25/06 03:49 PM

It's been some time since the last post in this forum.

I've been thinking about writing my own software arranger program. Does anyone have any info about this?
Maybe we can all work together at producing something fabulaous. Does anyone have any info about which language to use? Java, C++, VB?

I remmember posts about this topic here on synthzone. I searched and searched, but I still cant find them.

Is anyone interested in joining me? Maybe we can keep the source cope available to the public so that any one can give comments and/or make modificationes.
Doesn't this sound like a good idea?

Hi Jick,
I think the few of us that are using software arrangers are using Live Styler, One Man Band ( both load psr .sty files ) & some may even be using Jammer Live
(Jammer Styles).

Know what functions I'd like in an arranger, but as for any technical details in regards to programming etc, afraid I'm totally useless.

Is this what you are looking for? http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum37/HTML/010212.html
I am always interested in new software arranger programs, since I play a keyboard that contains a complete computer inside. If one has great new features there is always possibilty of using it on the Mediastation as an option. But since the included arranger has so many features it is not likely.
