HELP making midi files with the SD1PLUS please

Some years ago I had a Korg board and sequenced some of the midi files that I use regularly. Can someone please give me simple step-by-step instructions for making midi files and saving them to floppy/USB on the SD1PLUS? I have an abhorrence for the manual. Thank you.
