Blown SCSI fuse on MPC2000? - 09/22/98 01:15 PM

I can't get a cd-rom to work with my MPC2000. I've used different drives but it still won't communicate. How likey is it that I could have blown the SCSI fuse on the MPC or cd-rom by unpugging it with the power on? Thanks.

I had a similar problem with my MPC and CDROMs.
I had a CDROM(brand?) that i got from a friend & it worked fine at first. It later stopped working(being seen as a connected device), for some reason. I tried all SCSI adresses to no avail.

I then bought a highspeed multi media CDROM for MAC, which worked fine. About $200.00

I'm still not sure what happened.
