Multi-Card Reader for S5000

I just installed a Multi-Card Reader in my MPC2000XL in place of the floppy. I was thinking about doing the same thing to my S5000. I called akai tech support to ask for reccomendation and they said they have not tested that set-up. Has anyone out there tried this? If so what do I need to do or be careful of?
