S1000 and wav files

I just bought an S1000 and I was wondering, can you load wav files from PC formatted disks? I had an MPC2000, which did, but I sold it. I prefer to sample on the PC and the load them into the sampler, but I was wondering if it will load up like the MPC did.

The Akai S1000 can't read any other sound format other then Akai's. You need to convert the WAVE file to Akai's first using Akai Disk program and or Akai Disk 98 program.
