is sample dump from mac to s900 possible?

i'm looking for s/w to dump samples from my macintosh (ppc) to an Akai s900 via midi. if anyone knows of such an app, I'd love to hear about it. I've tried sampifier and d-sound pro but neither seem to talk to the s900.
