Does Tyros 4 have "Smooth Sound Transition"? - 11/06/13 02:12 PM

I'm getting ready to order an arranger. My old Roland Fantom X would cut off sounds abruptly when I changed patches/voices/programs within a song performance. Very annoying. That is why I traded it in for a Kronos where transitions are seamless and there can be a carryover (sustain) of the prior patch if desired. Does the Tyros 4 have SST or does the sound get cut or become chopped when switching patches/voices within a song? I ask because I'm interested in pre-ordering the T5 and would assume that if T4 has SST, then the new model will have it too. Absence of SST would be disappointing. Thanks. Hal

Conclusion: I just ordered the Tyros 5 - 76 regardless of the answer. Overall, I think the advantages will outweigh the disadvantages, in either case.
