Two Tier Tyros

There has been a lot of interest in adding a second keyboard to the Tyros. Most people modify their metal stand to achieve this. However, I have designed and built a wooden cabinet which combines a Tyros-2 with a Yamaha NP30 76 note lower keyboard. I have also added a Hammond XPK-100 Pedalboard - so that it can be played as an organ or a keyboard. The fiddling about with MIDI has been eliminated by using a RegiStick which also has a load of AR100 Electone organ sounds on board. I now have the best of both worlds. The T2 can be lifted out of its cradle so I can take it to our Club Meetings once a fortnight along with the original black metal stand. At home I have a cabinet in the music lounge which matches the Clavinova (Cherry finish) and the decor of the room. I can either play using all the automatics or play the bass part on the pedalboard.
