My first T2 Recording

My first T2 Recording - 07/09/06 12:11 AM

I've just started to play around with the T2 HD recorder. Thi is a new area for me but I have found it relatively painless.

I have put a link to a snippet of something I have just recorded. This is a first attempt so I think I have probably overdone the backing.

Although I gig out and sing I have recorded my daughter on vocals on this one.

It's a shame that you cant save each individual track so that you can mix to a better balance at the end instead of just overdubbing each time.

This is a simple recording but I'm pleased at how easy it is to get an OK result.

I didn't use the arranger this time but I will next time and I'll probably inflict my own vocals on you - You have been warned.

The song is probably not known outside of the UK so you won't be able to tell the mistakes (hehe)- It was recorded by Will Young who won the UK Pop Idol Contest a couple of years back.

Here is the link:

Any comments are welcome.

Thanks for sharing your music with us.
A very nice take on Wills song, I prefer listening to your daughters voice than his. She sounds similar to the woman out of M People (Heather Small I think her name is).

Very nice...You really make the T2 Piano sound nice and full. The vocals are awesome!

Great job!

Thanks for your kind comments. My daughter just sings and accompanies herself on the piano for fun. I will pass your kind words on to her.
