TYROS2 EQ SETTINGS

Hi. Reading a lot of posts most Tyros2 owners say that to get the instrument sounding it's very best you must alter the EQ settings. I was wondering what settings people use for going through Active PA speakers. So I can use them as a guideline. Do people alter the master EQ or the individual or both ??

Here's the settings suggested by Yamaha Product Demonstrator.

EQ. Setting FLAT

CMP.
Type STANDARD.
Basic Type. BASIC.
Threshold Offset + 0
Gain Offset LOW +10
Gain Offset MID +6
Gain Offset HIGH +8

SAVE AS USER (Name)

I have used these settings for the past year. There is improvement in dynamic and also a small increase in output volume.

Graham Thanks Very Much , I'll go and try these settings as through my PA it sounded a little " Dull " compared to my KN5000 or the guy playing a G-70 in the function room next door !!
