Tyros 2 now available in Australia - 10/12/05 10:52 AM

I just received an email from Bill Kerr advising me the Tyros 2 dealer in Australia has two keyboards now and Bill has offered to trade his G 70 which he hates on one of them and is waiting on word of approval hopefully. He states he is keeping his Technics KN7000.
Good Luck getting that Keyboard Bill.

Minor corection. The dealer has one of the two only Yamaha Australia demo models. Stock will be available late Oct or early Nov. Had an in store demonstration and was very impressed. But do I sell my KN7000 to generate funds to buy it!!! Oh dear here we go again.

Hey, I'm in Australia right now (just got here two days ago for my sister's wedding). Can you please tell me where this store is? I have some time and would love to check it out!

Sorry Bebop. I may have mislead you. I no-longer own the KN7000. I v'e sold it, but I have arranged with a dealer re a swap of my G-70 for the Tyros 2 and has been accepted.

Bill when you feel that kn7000 is not an appropriate username anymore let me know and I'll delete it for you and update the new username you choose to have the same status.

Hi,
if you're in Sydney, give Allan's Music a ring. They're in the heart of Sydney. They were the first one to have a Tyros 1 on demo, so with a bit of luck they may have a tyros 2. http://www.allans.com.au/

best wishes

Thanks Nigel but I like the name (kn7000). It brings back loving memories for me. By the way, does anyone know if the Tyros 2 can accept midi bass Pedals??

Bill Kerr has his and I think that Bill Johnson said one other of the KNOG had bought one also. I understand there were only 2 in Oz so far.
