Question about BK-3

Question about BK-3 - 11/24/14 12:31 PM

I have a question about the BK-3. When I play arrangers, I have gotten to the point where I don't want to use any of the accompaniment other than bass and drums. I then like to split the keyboard, and use a left hand sound to comp my right hand melodies.

Is this possible with the BK-3, or is all of the accompaniment always playing?

Kevin, yes you can...Mute the rhythm parts you do not want to hear, split the keyboard and set up your left and right sounds, save as a performance..for quick access..

I am experienced as a bk5 user, but it appears you have the same make up tools , and rhythm mute sections..

Thanks, Fran. I don't actually have a BK-3, just considering it. Like I said, i mainly like the drum and bass accompaniment only, so there's a lot of what arrangers feature that I don't use. Arrangers are also way more expensive than I can generally afford, so the BK-3 might fit my needs nicely.

I'm currently playing a Yamaha YPG-235, which has very limited styles that I'm pretty tired of.
