My only problem with my G1000,is the poor read out of some lyrics[in display]...but, no longer..Gunther Nagler's GNMIDI 2.43 can fix the wrong format thanks to the added Roland format among other new formats[including Yamaha] .This corrects 99% of my problem Lyric reads, making me a happy camper..I highly suggest you all spend the $30 to get this software, it has a zillion features..I was thinking of a VA 76 just for this lyric problem, but now I am home free[making room for DisCover5]..

G1000 will always be Rolands masterpiece. Too many people dislike the VA series (not me though ; )
I'm sure you'll love the discover 5. Fran please compare the Discover's sounds to the G1000's...lol i know its like comparing the VA7 to G1000....are the sounds really that much better ? saxs,flutes,brass,harmonica,accordion...thoseare the instruments i love...
