If you play out a lot I would say go with the Yamaha. I have the E-50 and do not take it out. If I did I would have to get a hardshell case for it. The E50 is not as sturdy as my Fantom XA, or my PSR3000. -my opinion The plastic case is not made of very hard plastic/polimers. Additionally, I heard here of people having problems with the touch screens but mine is working flawlessly for 2 months. I do like the guitar, vocal pads, oegan and synth sounds of the Roland over the Yamaha, but the styles, and brass sounds of the yamaha over the roland. In a perfect world one should get both the Yamaha, and Roland.

convince you? why? we're not selling you one, are we?

first of all, if the E50 and E60 are both in the mix for you,
you need to decide if the 76 keys, better feel, and d-beam
functions are worth the extra $ to you, or if you prefer the
more compact size and lighter weight of the E50... then,

if you choose the E50 it $ compares to the s700..
if you choose the E60 it $ compares to the s900..

then YOU need to research the features online,
listen to samples, and MOST of all, try them out.

if you are still having a hard time deciding and think you
may be selling any one to move up in a year or so..
then consider it will be probably easiest to sell the s900 and recover the most $ than any of the other 3.
