re new 1.09 os update for E50/E60

it's dated July 25, roland u.s. doesn't yet know what it does beyond the 1.08 os update, Diki on roland-arranger.com doesn't know, the roland website doesn't know, and George Kaye who has loaded it into his e/50/60's in his shop doesn't know..who knows? THE SHADOW?

Yesterday came my E-50 from service. They heve changed motherboard with version 1.1.0. I found just some changes: it say that my internal memory is 17396 Kb(before I had 2000 or less...) and I found some new drumkits.

andre, what country are you in? roland us doesn't have the 1.10 yet.. they say they wait for a few weeks after Europe because Americans tend to sue if there are any problems. could you please try to inquire as to what all the actual changes are from 1.09? thanks ------------------ Miami Mo [This message has been edited by keysvocalssax (edited 09-24-2007).]

I am from Slovakia. I dont know if you know where it is...:-) I cant say what are the diferences of v1.1.0 because I havent got v1.09 before. I had only basic version. If I will find some diferences between them I can tell you...

I know where Slovakia is..it's near Bushwick in Brooklyn, right? Seriously, can you compare the basic and the 1.10?.the 1.08 added the v-link as controller, some indo drum kits and stabilized the tap tempo problems, and added a fill going from var 4 to 3..the 1.09 update just improved drum kit #10. anything else in addition to these would be what was in the the 1.10..have you found (or can you inquire from Roland in Europe-because Roland US doesn't know)what is in the 1.10? thanks ------------------ Miami Mo

Can you please tell me if the E-50 and the E-80 share the same key-bed ? if not , how is the action or key feel on the E-50?

Also , are the buttons on the E-50 plastic or rubber ?

i've download 1.10 but i don't know what it does. I no see difference between 1.08 and 1.10. What is drumkit #10 in the 1.09? i've no idea....
