Roland EM-2000 (Opinions?)

Has anyone owned or played the Roland EM-2000 Creative Keyboard? How did you like it?
I am considering buying one. How are the styles? Are the sounds natural and realistic?
What are the idiosyncrasies? I own a Casio MZ-2000,which I intend to keep,but would like access to more styles.And,therefore,I am thinking of a second keyboard.Thanks for any help or opinions...

I have a Em-2000 and my primary dissapointment
with the product is lack of contemporary styles on the included discs and it is a little cumbersome to use. I also have a
Yamaha PSR-740 and it's much more user friendly.

I love my EM2000. It is by far the most expressive keyboard I've played. That's because of it's Dynamic Accompaniment. This feature changes what voices play in the left hand part according to the pressure of your fingers on the keyboard. It's hard to use at first, but gives very nice results.
Plus, the acoustic pianos sound great. And there are 1000's of styles available for Roland. I could go on, but no more time. You SHOULD PLAY one first to check it out. That is what everyone should do before buying.

I'm going to think about it a little longer.I've heard several times that the EM-2000 is a little difficult to use.I think it's good advice to actually hear one.I also agree that a keyboard with really good sound is worth the initial difficulty of figuring it out.Many music stores around here don't feature them anymore because they say that Roland is phasing them out.But it really helps to hear another point of view...especially if I end up not having the luxury of going to a music store to actually hear one.But I want to assimilate as much info as I can first. I would rate the em 2000 as a bargain.With 32 mb,some excellent sounds ,style editing,fast zip loading ,etc,and a great price.I love this machine.

You guys don't make it easy.I would really like to have one.(A-r-g-h! chewing my fingernails...)Man-o-man, everytime I get ready to actually buy one,I become smitten with guilt.My daughter yawns and I see a cavity in her tooth..Gosh,she needs her teeth filled..in fact,the closer I look,I imagine she could probably use BRACES($$$).The dog needs to be fixed...I should be Christmas shopping.....
If I could find a slightly used or B-stock EM-2000 from a safe and reputable source for $1000(including shipping,no tax),I would probably lunge for it.None to be had so far.Maybe if I get my daughter's tooth filled I'll spend more. I don't need a keyboard..I need a psychiatrist....

reason i am selling this great keyboard because this is a pro keyboard,and i am just learning how to play keyboard,thats why i need very basic keyboard.this keyboard was very hardly used ,may be not more than 4 hours.and i bought the new one for $ 2499.00+tax.i know the price has droped to around$1400.00 now.

Overall, How does the EM2000 compare to the CASIO MZ2000?

[] From the specs, it's obvious that the Roland has more sounds. Are the sounds comparable to Roland's other synth engines (JV1080)?

[] Is there a chance of finding one for under $1000?
