Update on Gary: He's back in the hospital

Gary was home for a few days, but had a setback and is back in a different hospital. His family tells me he will be there for a good while. He is in a lot of pain and they think that on top of everything else, he may have pneumonia.

Talk about feeling helpless! I'd go up there this afternoon if I could do something to help.

I do plan to go up when he's back home and could handle a visit.

He is aware of and appreciative of all the good thoughts going his way.
Mom and daughter have really stepped up to the plate.

Gary, you are always on my mind. I wish the best for you, partner.

Please tell Gary he is in my thoughts too. Although I’m on the other side of the pond I’ve read many of Gary’s posts with interest.

Thanks for the update Russ, so sorry to hear about this latest set back. We all know how strong and tough a fighter Gary is, combined with all the prayers and positive thoughts from his world wide Synthzone family we await his miraculous bounce back!

Gary called me from the hospital yesterday. He is in rough shape. Had to cut the call short because of pain. He can't walk.

He will go to a rehab facility in a few days. Then, in about three months, if things go well, they may be able to reverse the colostomy bag.

Oxygen level, which has been a problem for several years, is hovering around 82.

This is about as helpless as I have ever felt.

I appreciate the support and well wishes for our dear old friend.

He is missed for sure. Sorry about how tough the things are.

Can't add much to what John C (Bruno123) said. Gary has helped me and others many times. Pulling for him too.

Here`s one for Gary wishing him a speedy recovery.

Just got off the phone with Gary. He has a while to wait for his next pain meds, but was coherent and wondering about the next step, which is transfer to a rehab center. He thinks that will be awhile.

Never wanted to be able to fix something this much before.

Just heard from Gary's family. He has pneumonia. They are going to drain his lungs tomorrow.
