Tough decision - 05/18/20 01:35 PM

After confirming the loss of my summer, I'm now accelerating my move
Straight Outta Philly, so it is with heavy heart that I will offer up my PSR-SX-900 for sale. $1800 delivered in US48. I have the really cool Gator Pro Case too, but since it won't fit in the factory box, that'll be another $200 if you want the case. Hate to do it, but I'll be tearing apart the studio a day at a time starting in June, and hopefully, I'll be out by July. Sigh ... this is an interesting adventure, for sure! I need to strip down my inventory, so I can travel light, setup tiny, and relocate almost anywhere. I haven't even ruled out a Winnebago !

Sooooo .... any takers? (no terms at this time ... storing my nuts for the winter) lol

Still under warranty for 18 months from Sweetwater

What town will you be in? Do they have a Starbucks ??

Rich! As far as I know - they DON'T have a Starbucks! YIKES! There's no Walmart, no Barnes & Nobles .... it's basically Mayberry with a lot of lakes, and wineries.

That brown building in the forefront is my Sister and her husband's book store. It's underneath an abandoned OPERA HOUSE! (How cool would it be to refurbish THAT as a studio/apt?

That pic could be Saratoga, Oneonta, or just about any other town/city I've ever seen in upstate NY ... or even some here in RI ...
Re-doing the opera house would be a great project indeed ...

And as I've said before, SZ travels well ...

Best of Luck, Dave ...

The last time I was in that part of the world, I was fishing for northern pike, in mid June and thought I would freeze to death. Seemed like they only had two seasons there, Winter and 4th of July. After a week, I was ready for palm trees and sugar white sand. wink

Good luck, Dave on your upcoming adventure,

Gary ... I believe that had to be an exception ... actually most areas of upper NY state have temps in the mid to upper 70s in June and even warmer in the dead of Summer ... now it is true that from Sept into May it can be quite cold ...

Stay warm, stay safe, stay well ...

I grew up 70 miles South of Penn Yan and can attest to that. I had a very peaceful childhood in the small town of Belmont. I may have become bored at times as a teenager, but, looking back, it was friendly, safe, and wholesome.

I've lived in upstate NY most of my life. I always say that from June to October it's as nice (weather wise) as anywhere in the world. The other months will test your patience though, especially as you get older.

I say ... bring it on! LOVE the snow, and the winter chill. I got coats.
