Ok as promised I did get a chance to try and do a
short version recording of one of my favorite country songs
"Killin' Time" by Clint Black on my Tyros 4
using the Country Rock Style, Vintage Amp Guitar
and the Hold It Fast Organ.
Now I know I ain't no country boy but I did my best anyway
as I wanna make my Oklahoma buddy Don Mason proud...
hope you enjoy it.

stay safe

Harold's Deli in Edison comes to mind too. IN 1986 I did a bike tour that started at Liberty State Park crossed thru Sayreville and plenty of rural/farmland I never knew Jersey had the tour finished at Liberty Bell in Philly. It was beautiful country thru that rural area of NJ. 100 miles by bike in about 8 hours, I'll never do that again beat me up

...about time you got this much acclaimed T4 of yours out into the open buddy !!!!

Seriously Donny, I much admit that as a Dutchman I am/was not familiar with this artist nor the song but you turned it into a very good recording the way I would expect a professional to do.
Hope you are beginning to get the hang of things with that T4 of yours and looking forward to the next recording. As the man himself said: "Keep 'em comin' !!!"

regards
John

Re: Great song for the Times... - 04/17/20 05:01 PM

Donny, that is one of the best songs I’ve heard you do. Singing was great, it was strong, it fit the song. Hard to beat that Tyros 4.

You can now understand why I said I did more recording on my Yamaha Ty2 then my korgs or Roland, it just seems to fit; ala-styles, and whatever.

I’m impressed my friend, John C.
