My dear son walked into the office about 2:30 today for the first time since his illness. Said the 10 steps felt like climbing a mountain, but he stayed for a couple of hours.
Slow and easy does it, but HE'S ON THE WAY BACK>

Happy to hear that, Russ! Although I rarely comment such things, they do not escape my mind. Can’t imagine how exhausted you must feel right now. Stressful events sometimes give you some extra power in order to overcome it, but when the things are behind you, it can take a lot of time to recover, so, I guess, it’s okay if you feel some apathy or something like that; I guess, any emotions you and Logan have now and will have later are necessary, no matter how natural or illogical they may seem.

Our friend from across the ocean hit so close to home. My takeaway is NEVER miss a chance to be with and otherwise interact with your family. One of my great regrets is, I worked so much I missed some time with my little ones. Logan started to travel with me to trade shows (Hardware Shows, NAMM, etc.) I took that for granted.
NEVER AGAIN!
