Thank you Unc D and Tony for the knowledge.
A very powerful high quality musical peripheral indeed.

I could be very happily entertained at my Mac with my controller and all the sounds within. This may be the best move for you Donny.

You and Donny both will not be happy without having audiences, because you are entertainers.
There is nothing I could do with a controller and PC that hasn't been done better by some 16-year-old in Japan. But we CAN entertain people and that's a blessing and a calling for me.

My boss, Ernest, has started calling me grandpa. I guess it's o.k. as long as he keeps calling me.

Hey, they can call me 'great' grandpa and mean it ... and she is just about the most precious thing in my world ...

The clock is always ticking..
Debbie Downer is back!
Admit it - you wouldn't be retired right now if our circumstances were the same. You've got a financial out that I'll never have .... and that means: I gotta work.
Luckily, I LOVE my work ... so let the clock tick. None of us have a clue as to how many ticks we have. In the end - they'll mark our birth year, then a dash, and our death year. I prefer to LIVE THE DASH.
(didn't make that up - here's the story)

Dave, “it's Donny who's in adjustment mode!”
We all must go through the adjustment mode sooner or later. How we handle it; what we feed our minds, is up to us. It can be a nightmare or a beautiful journey.
I am thankful for people like Gary, Don and Tony, they share great stories about going through their adjustment mode. Facts, just rolling through it, and the love of family. And I understand every time a look at my granddaughter I know everything is more than just OK.
John C.
PS, Dave, Oh, I still have loads of time with audiences - it's Donny who's in adjustment mode! Dave, none of us know how much time we have left wih audiences!
Dave, I love, love, love the poem DASH, it says good things about you.

And that is the whole problem and the reason for all the purchases.

Problem? I don't see a problem. I am sure Donny doesn't either? Problem with what? I, for one, really enjoy what Donny does because he is getting to experience many instruments (some of which I would be interested in myself) and is quite happily wanting to provide feedback on the experience where probably a few other members probably wouldn't want to or care to want to. The feedback can be very helpful indeed. There's only one person who Donny should be pleasing and that is himself and then whoever he chooses! I am sure he doesn't find this a problem. I really don't get what the issue is about it all.

The only (potential) problem is praise and then demise, shortly thereafter. We all know by now that is Donny's MO. He tries to pick pros and cons and not afraid to voice his opinions. The reader has to be savvy and make his own decisions. We all have different ears, needs and financial resource. I am guilty too of loving something one minute, only to find out the flaws shortly thereafter. So I will never throw stones.....heck, I still am afraid to open this SX900 box. Seems to be a division still, although many love this board. Ok, onward to a 3X gig!

Hi Zuki,
what’s with not opening the box?
Is it a case of not being able to send it back if opened? In which case I can understand your hesitation.
If not, why not just go for it.

Of course, he is free to do as he chooses. But when he posts on a public forum, it is not surprising if some people think his numerous purchases are indicative of some underlying issue. I am not the only person that has expressed that view. As far as feedback, yes he has missed the boat by not starting a youtube page and posting videos where he could possibly make money off of his (mis?) adventures.
