Meeting another SZ Member

Thru the years I’ve met a number of SZ members and it’s always a pleasure! Today my wife and I met up with GirlJam. We had a great chat, breakfast and coffee. It’s always nice to put a face to a SZ regular!

It was SO awesome to meet up with Stephen and his lovely wife! We had such a great time! This is actually a first for me, being able to meet up and have a face to face with a SZ member! I certainly hope it is the first of many!

Over the years, I've managed to meet up with more than a dozen Synthzoners. Some of the meetings were during the Jam I held here at the Diamond Ranch, while others were folks I met along the way while traveling south to find the sailboat I wanted, drove more than 7,000 miles in that pursuit and ended up find the boat just 50 miles from home. Another jam would be fun, but I'm just too old and busted up to host another one.

Jill, Yes it was a great time! You’re welcome both Deb and I really enjoyed it.

The jams we had when Technics ruled were fantastic. There were large rooms filled with keyboard players. Men from Texas, three came from England, and some from the northern states. SZ had a lot to do with these jams.

I often wonder if we could get a yearly jam started again --- here in Florida.

PS, three members of the jams became my close friends. Each one left me their Kn7000 when they passed.

They sure were memorable times, John. The wife still asks me when are we going to another jam.

Having never met a single SZ Arranger... it would be a real treat. I barely missed Don Mason's Jam when all of us were younger, probably not nearly as wise... but tons more fun to be around!
